Keeping your home safe

Simple steps that protect your family. Tap a question to open it.

How often should my boiler be serviced?
At least once a year, or as the manufacturer recommends. A yearly service keeps it running safely and efficiently, and is usually needed to keep your warranty valid.
I rent my home - what should my landlord do?
Your landlord must arrange a gas safety check every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer on all gas appliances they provide. You should get a copy of the certificate before you move in, or within 28 days of the check.
Do I need a carbon monoxide alarm?
Yes - fit an audible carbon monoxide alarm. You can't see, smell or taste CO, so an alarm is the only way to know if dangerous levels build up.
Can you do landlord gas safety certificates?
Yes. We carry out landlord gas safety checks and provide the certificate you need. Give us a call to book.
